The moment an award winner is announced, or a host walks on stage at a live event, the music needs to create impact and energise the room. Careful consideration should be given to the track length, as walking times can vary depending on the venue and stage layout.

It’s also important to choose the right section of the song.

Should it begin with a recognisable chorus, include a seamless loop, or feature a custom introduction? We can edit and tailor the music to suit the occasion, ensuring the final output delivers exactly the desired effect.

Mind the gap

Robert Jenrick won an award for his campaigning, in particular for fare dodgers on the London Underground. Wanting to have some fun with the sting, the client asked us to create something a bit different, with a nod to the fare dodgers.

PARKY IS RUSSIA’S LOVE MACHINE

The event organiser picked up on something that Sir Michael Parkinson once said in an interview and chose this song for his walk-on music. Please note the VOG is not the original, just for context.

BUDGET BRIEFING

For an event analysing the budget, the organisers had suggested a couple of songs for the walk-on music but weren't sure which one to go with. StingMasters made the decision easier by combining both.

Over the years we have worked with many clients to create custom tracks, whether that is an original piece of music such as the track “Danger! Will Robinson!” or extending a section with additional instrumentation and effects, as featured in “From Now On”.

EXTENDING A SECTION FOR A LIVE PERFORMANCE

An event organiser had booked a famous BGT dance act for the entertainment part of the show. They requested an extension in the middle section, that would include a breakdown before building to the finale. This is the result.

CREATING ORIGINAL MUSIC FOR A LAUNCH PARTY

For the launch party of Series 2 of Netflix's Lost in Space, the client wanted an original piece of music incorporating the phrase “Danger! Will Robinson!”—the only words spoken by the Robot throughout the first series. StingMasters composed a bespoke track to meet the client's brief and bring the event to life.

A CHRISTMAS MIX FOR A CHRISTMAS PODCAST

For this project, the client wanted a mix of a couple of classic Christmas songs for a live podcast recording. They knew they wanted something a bit different, but hadn't quite defined what that was. We put forward a few creative ideas, and this was the result.
